Sorry bluestar, you're wrong.  The current stock price means nothing only if there is no need for future financing. Oromin shareholders are very familiar with the words delay and late.  Thus one or more financing in the future is a distinct possibility.  Also we have no control over corporate events, geopolitical events, financial events etc.  In any case, a buyout could be ...more

socalbernie--I agree that Ole potentially had two blockbuster releases , but indeed screwed them both up by combining the Update and new drill results into one mass of gibberish that most people won't understand....Perhaps , if it is not too late , the Technical Report to be filed on Sedar in 4-5 weeks , will make things somewhat clearer for John Q Public(if they even read it ...more

bluestar,i think you are correct, but also how could Chet even get another PP done?   The story I have heard from one industry insider is that no one (ie brokerage houses) would buy another PP from these sh#ts.Although, I bet they  would change their minds and be buyers at 75 cents... I hope that is not where we are headed.I think if most of us were in managements position we would ...more

No offense intended at all, but do you think they really give a crap about what any retail investor thinks at this point? If they did, would folks hold the low opinion of management? Nope, at this stage it is all about institional investors and who might buy them...hopefully each of us bought in low enough to make some $$$ by going along for the ride!

topoftheridge---I can understand your eagerness to get out  "whole" or maybe even a few bucks ahead.....BUT , it absolutely would be the wrong thing to do for Chet to sell out for anything below $6/share.....and I still think $10/share is possible by end of this year , if drill results keep coming in similar to those demonstrated thus far.......In spite of Ole's poor ...more
