terenga

a possible reason for terenga's high volume late day plunge could be some sort of deletion from some sort of "index"  like the SP/TSX 500 gold index. ( i just made that one up).

However, I see no announcement of such an event so hopefully it is some sort of "raise" in order to rid us of our misery.

Hey Top, I believe that there is definitely something going on with TGZ.  The stock has seen a steady decline from $2.20 to $1.70 in two weeks with nothing but positive news prior to that.  I expect some news as early as this week on TGZ. Their investors are probably also wondering what is going on.  They might go after OLE with a low ball bid that will at least establish a minimum ...more

After studying this further,I believe that TGZ would wait until their stock recovers (unless they already have a done deal) before they announce anything.  Maya mentioned that they were trying to raise around $200 million for a combined cash and stock deal.  This low $1.70 share price would not help TGZ because they would have to issue more shares (almost 25% more than in the ...more

TGZ up over 12% this morning on about 200k shares at 11am.  Could be company buying some stock.  lets see how it holds today.
