Q3 earnings and divi amount in 3 weeks

pdl announced earnings and divi amount on aug.1 and may 2 which is 1 month after quarter end, so they should make announcement on nov.1. that is only 3 weeks away if one can wait. same divi as last quarter of $0.45 would be great :)
since they probably made more cash than prev quarter, maybe a higher divi amount for wishful thinkers. i would have waited for that announcement even without buyout, so waiting 3 more weeks should not make much difference. difference is getting a free put option and maybe a higher bid.

And don’t forget July’s throughput was almost 12000 tpd, and average pd price is higher, plus!!! Aisc should be lower due to by product prices. Also if Brookfield cleans out the bank we may be getting a 90c special dividend.  Which would be a nice icing on the cake. The cherry on top would be a higher bid. Very curious what comes next.

So if there is no Quarterly dividend going to be given to shareholders after the NEXT Q report, PDL will be sitting on a big pile of cash which will be given to IMPLATS???? So in reality the value  given to PDL operation and reserves  is going to be considerably less  than a billion $$$. What a farce...

Well... that’s disappointing. The good news would be that it makes it a lot easier for another company to make an offer. Considering there will be close to 80 to 100 million in the bank, and that the street thinks we were shorted 200 million with this deal.

very very strange deal...I am sure it is all legal and in order but a really really bad deal for the people who invested and risked their hard earned money to make this company work and succeed....this is how Brookfield treats those investors..???  lessons learned...I always felt that so many of the shares in the hands on one party was not good...at least I made some money trading the stock

Impala is getting a real good deal and it just might be a too good to be true sort of deal .Lot's of time for another suitor to come knocking. I'll wait this one out to see how good a deal they really get.
