PDAC update

I attened it today.I missed John Kaisers presentation as I got theye too late.A oslo tried to find Kaiser but was unable to.I ran into Brent Cook and chatted with him.I asked him if he followed PGD he said no he does not do diamond research. But did tell me that John Kaiser is very keen on PGD.

I then spoke to Randy Turner he gave me his tout about Canterra. He told me thatdiamond deposits ore found in about 50 clusters and his company has what they think are 8 pipes.I spoke to him about the good ole days in diamond exploration when a company would get a nice market cap if they found something. He said those days will return.I asked him if he followed PGD he said yes it looks interesting.I told him Kasiser thins PGD could be an Ekati in the making. He said could be.

I then stopped at Diamcor. We had a very good conversation. He just got Tiffany and the Thi fook company invested in his company.Tiffany did it for a supply but Thi Fook did it for shares. He said he expects them both to make investments directly in Canadaian diamond explorers. He told me he also thinks due to the scarce future diamond supply consolidation of JRs with new discoveries would be the only way for diamond miners to find growth including his company because no new mine are being found as fast as mine are running dry.I then asked if he followed PGD he said yes I own stock in PGD.He said the numbers they are posting are mind bending and that he and Eric are friends.

We spoke to the fact that all the 4 big diamond mines in Canada are underground now and are rapidly running out and that Canadas diamond production is going to take a big fall.He thought Debeers might take over MPV.He said DDC in in real trouble in terms of future mine supply and that the Jay pipe was not a sure thing.

He also thought SWY is boarderline economic and hopes it does well but it may not be a Tahara but  if diamond prices were to weaken then it might not be the mine some think it is.

He agreed with me that PGDs ore value and grade is so high that its only a matter of time before Debeers or DDC need it and said their are lists of diamond producer who would like that ore.

For take over he said the Friedland wll never sell it cheap.

Thats about it

Thanks Oiltar. that is an excellent update from PDAC. I suspect Kaiser will get a video interview like he did for Roundup and it should show up on youtube at some point. Kaiser's updated presentation should be on the website tonight or tomorrow too. No idea on the connection between Diamcor and Eric. Was it one of the big wigs at the Diamcor booth or thee bigwig? I also spoke to some one about NAR. We both don't think the valuation will make it as the grade is very low and the valuation would need to be a very lofty figure. He told me the market was chasing NAR buy he did not see a mine on either of the 2 projects. We both aggrred PGD does not have those kind of issues.

Thing about NAR's NR is only 46% of the sample has been finished, and if anyone here really wants to see what a fancy intense yellow looks like, take a peek. For someone who has touted non existent fancy yellows here Oiltar, (and the value they bring to a project), I am surprised at your negative outlook on it. I do agree on the market chasing it, took +75% gain on the news Friday and more ...more

Not negitive on NAR.In fact those look like very nice yellow diamonds and likely more to come. But we are not talking about 1ct here this grade is low.An Artic diamond mine is costly to build and operate. We must look at grade as well as value. Victor is only 1/4 ct but its value per ct is $400.Victor has the second highest diamond values in the world. If NAR gets a $100 ct valuation then I doubt ...more
