all you can eat warrants at half penny

Looks like Canaccord has decided to vanquish themselves from exercising warrants.

800K warrants traded so far.
Not sure how many warrants they have in the end, but obviously it is a pile.

Based our on our ownership structure page. There is up to 24 million warrants out there in the public domain (not including SH holders).

I believe Haywood has been the big buyer with TD and anon second.

Just another bump in the road.

the problem with all these warrants trading is none of the new owners, if they exercise them, will buy and hold IMO. Any news going forward will be pounded by these shares as they sell into news for anything over a 8-10% gain. TD had a large wall up just a few days ago, will be interesting to see the walls after the 6th. Second issue that is obvious is the sellers do not see any upside here for a ...more

Fellow Lemmings... The more warrants that get exercised the better, if those that exercise want to walk away for a few pennies by all means. Filling PGD's coffers ensures the success of the Lemmings Amen

A successful drilling season ensures the success of the lemmings. It won't mean anything without that, even if you get 50 million from the warrants.

If people who buy at 21c have no intention to hold to 40-50c at least, who is going to buy their shares? You know what happens with people who saw their share price drop from 50-60c to 15c when they see the price starting to drop at 40c again? They will say no way am I seeing 15c again. It is hard to forget the pain, especially if you don't remember any joy from holding.

not having a plan of when to buy and sell is a problem with 99% of retail investors IMO. When I refer to lemmings a picture always helps. If anyone has seen Pretty Women, there is a scene in the movie where Julia gets trashed by a sales clerk in an upscale dress shop, she goes on to spend a ton of cash in other stores who treat her less like a hooker and more like the actress herself. Then then ...more

Well, here's another Hollywood movie analogy, Groundhog Day.  Where, if you recall, was about the same day being played over and over....well it's not exactly the same, but basically go back 6 months and pretty much the same discussion presented by the same posters is being repeated now.  Nothing wrong with the advice being given again, but really, your individual cercumstanses ...more

good one Fivecarat, lets hope everyone learns the same lessons and comes out of it with a prize. GLTA

There is always an explanation for hope. Six months ago when I said that people will sell at 25c if they know that they can buy back at 21c max, possibly even lower, I got schooled about fundamentals and financials. Those might matter in the very long term, maybe, but mean nothing shorter term.

Huh?

Oh, by the way SGF went all the way down to .13!  Yikes, what a deal...

Well, you have no clue about fundamentals.   Go back to school, you might learn something.  But I suggest you don't go back to the school where you were trained.  Take your couple of pennies and move on!

Six months ago the SP was trying to put a bottom in at 25c. You were waiting for the last drilling program to confirm the fundamentals established prior. Today the fundamentals look even rosier than before, yet you are hoping that the price will hold 21c so the warrants will be exercised.  How come? No one says that the price will not turn around, but how far will it go? Is there a guarantee ...more
