There is a pretty good chance negotations are going on as we speak.
Probably be tough negotations on each side...so it would not be easy for a deal just to go through.

I can't recall which publication the story was originally published, but no actual companies were mentioned at all if I recall, correct me if I'm wrong. A rumour + a rumour still = a rumour...and I know that's what you're saying, correct?

Rumour yes. Chai Tai Fook looking into supplying diamonds for the future is not a rumour. Chai Tai Fook indicating that they do not like unstable areas like Africa is not a rumour. Canada has to be a top 5 country of destination for Chai Tai Fook. Chidliak has one of those destinations is the rumour or speculative part. South China Morning Post reported on Chow Tai Fook wanting to aquire a stable source of diamonds.  They indicated that they have already looked into Canadian projects. Never said the article was a rumour in that they were at some point in time interested in diamonds and Canada, but that they interested specifically in PGD or that the were meeting with PGD now or ever.
