Interesting. They don't seem to disclose important things in the news releases...like width of the dyke for example. As far as I can tell from historic information, the width is roughly 0.75 metres for the PST dyke. The main Kahuna dyke ranges from 2m to 4 metres wide. In my many technical readings, I have read that dykes can actually have much higher grades than pipes. Chidliak has ...more

It has been explained to me that the 2.22 carat polycrystalline stone found is actually a hodgepodge of micro and macro diamonds that have been fused together. Haven't validated the claim yet...but it sounds reasonable. Poly - Many - crystalline - crystals...many crystals. LONG...PGD EKIM
