What if its not the plaques and tangles.

This article suddenly starts to make more sense after I received some information a few days ago , that there are scientists out there now that think the plaques and tangles might actually be the body's way of trying to protect the brain when we get misfolding protien happening. This could explain why previous drugs have had such difficulty circumventing these plaques and tangles and the bleeding that is accociated when drugs do try and remove the plaque and tangles. Lets see if we start to get more info on this theory. Sounds like PMN ( Dr Cashman ) might have been on track from the beginning.

What info RC? You're such a tease.   Cashman has been fighting the plaque hypothesis since day 1 (I don't know about tangles) so this plus his alternative misfolding (as both trigger and opportunity) hypothesis is what drew me in.  ACH as many media critics still describe it is decades out of date, so at this point its only still out there for spin purposes.  IMO ABO
