Help me out here. According to the news release, LOU has purchased back and cancelled 19M shares. However, according to the end of Sept, after 9 months,
Shares outstanding end of 9 month period, 651MM, last year, 662MM
Shares weighted average,                               661MM                   644MM
Shares fully diluted                                            673MM                   666MM
How do we cancel 19MM shares and have MORE SHARES?

Energyuser, it seems nobody was able to anwer your question.  I'm one of those but still a holder of LOU.  It seems our LOU has fallen out of favour.  I used to compare it to my TAL but that one has progressed with a steady flow of news and a 12% yearly dividend.  Still some similarites but I'm afraid our LOU is in the dog house.  I prefer companies with a steady ...more
