What the dickens is going on with the share volume?

Last time I looked, share volume had hit well over 106,000,000 shares traded so far today.  Average has been just over 9,000,000.  The stock has been trading well as of late and I am beginning to wonder if the market has gotten wind of something with the company or, could it be that institutional buyers are just making adjustments to their portfolios with the start of the new quarter and the latest  upbeat job report that came out this morning, in the US and, an upbeat PMI report that came out the other day making investors more optomistic about the future of the US economy even in light of the climbing COVID-19 cases in the US.

Institutional holders only account for less than half of one percent of the stock. The rumor mill is at work and with a volume of over half it's present market cap, chances are there is some substance to the rumors. About 48% percent of the stock is owned by insders according to Yahoo Finance, so it's private investors who are fueling the volume.  In any event it's a lot ...more
