Anybody read the management information circular? Some interesting stuff in there on the background to the deal...

the first sentence in f4, if they did not do an appraisal on the assets of the company, how can they conclude that "arrangement is fair from a financial point of view"

Good point, and the short answer is they couldn't and didn't.......If one factors in the valuation of the production assets alone at Holt-Holloway, the sales price of 47 cents per share would not cover its replacement......Further factoring of the gold ounces in the ground in all categories and the value of the 120 kilometer land base along what is irreplaceable prime exploration trend ...more

totally agree Ted, on nov 5 the projection was 40 to 50 k ozs for the tayor mine while the holt - holloway was 90 - 95 ozs this gives the taylor project a 50% in production and on nov 16 the takeover was announced with a meager 25% premium. . the second paragraph on page 36 along with a 7.1 mil break fee pretty well says this deal is done. so deal of the century goes to kgi
