Santos Discovers Gas in Whanto East-1 Well, Queensland

Santos has discovered gas in Whanto East-1 well in ATP 1189, Queensland. The well is located in the Cooper Basin, approximately 110 km north-east of the Ballera gas processing plant.

The well, targeting the Toolachee Formation, was drilled to a total depth of 3,160m. The well intersected gas pay consistent with the pre-drill estimates....
