Limiting credits

Auto makers will now need to scramble in order to be able to provide their customers with the tax credit.
About two thirds of the EVs sold in the U.S. are supposedly no longer eligible, primarily because their battery materials are not sourced properly.
Pretty sure that graphite is a biggy. 
Syrah's stock price should recover as resulting sales and profits increase as a result of the new  enforcement policy.

I see that some of the U.S. EV manufacturers have found a band aid to get around the penalty for using unapproved sources for the materials in their batteries. GM for example is planning to provide its customers with the equivalent of the $7500 tax credit by providing the same amount out of their own pocket. I wonder what that will do to their bottom line.
