Vancouver - Sydney Flight

I did a quick check on YVR-SYD non stop direct Air Canada flight for a roundtrip

1. 19th Dec - 26th Dec. Cheapest fare is about CAD $3,700. This is about 2 weeks out.
2. 9th Jan - 16th Jan.     Cheapest fare is about $3,500. This is about 5 weeks out.
2. 13th Feb -20th Feb.   Cheapest fare is about $1,800. This is about 10 weeks out.

Precovid these prices were in the range of $1,500-$2,200 few weeks out. Flight frequency is not daily yet but whatever they fly, it will be very profitable :).

Additionally, you have to account for other factors, such as fuel costs, labor costs,  covid screenig etc costs.  How many ...more

Thanks for the post, i believe 2022 will be the rebound year for air travel. Business relationships need to be polished aswell and that means in person meetings again. Im obviously bullish on AC, but more than that, im bullish on people/business desire for travel.
