In the case of ACT, the most compelling case over Canadian peers is that they dominate the Clearwater, having drilled almost every well in the play giving them an edge over competitors as clients prefer experience using directional drillers with unique knowledge of the formation as it leads to greater success. One mistake with a directional driller may prove costly so operators favor using seasoned talent with formation specific knowledge. It seems likely that Canadian numbers should continue steadily or improve as Clearwater is one of the most profitable oil basins in North America which is expected to see continued growth."
