Uplisting

First off...I love the company and I am very glad to be an investor in Adcore... But you could say that the uplisting to the "Big board" has not worked out so well. Exactly the opposite is what seems to have happened. Can any of my neighbors to the north tell why it really matters one way or the other whether they are on the TSX or the Venture? Are there really enough investors who won't buy the Venture but will buy the TSX to matter? Evidence seems kinda sketchy and the chart of the stock is looking uglier by the day.

Hi maggs, I'll try to help answer some of your questions. Being invested in Adcore as well, I feel your pain. Nothing seems to going right these days for the stock; but on the other hand, the company is doing remarkably well. These kinds of situations are both enraging and confusing for us investors. To answer you question in one word; yes, there are more investors who will buy from the TSX ...more

I was also very excited about the uplisting, and in hindsight; way more than I should have been. If graduating to the TSX meant an increase in stock price, all you would have to do is invest in those companies, sit back and enjoy retirement. We all know the game isn't that easy... And I admittedly let optimism cloud my judgment and common sense. How I should have seen it was a long play that ...more

Being U.S. based...The OTC listing in the U.S. is going to attract only a handful of very aggressive investors/traders. In general, real big money investors who would buy and hold won't go near the OTC marketplace and for good reason. That very shady market is much worse in terms of the "scam" factor you talk about. I think the OTC listing will help a lot.  I have a lot of friends who won't buy this stock because they have to make a phone trade to buy it.  OTC is a stepping stone to Nasdaq.
