is starting to make more sense than the ridiculous amount of time it is taking to sew up the last part of the financing. maybe someone is just kicking the tires, but perhaps it is legitimate enough to explain the delays. it would not be a terrible time for a major to swoop in and either takeover the korea project or buy all of almonty. good weekend all

based on the close to 20% holding of Plansee, nobody other could really go for that option. that's why it's there.. but should that ever be a topic, i would expect that to happen once the mine is running. not now. Plansee do not know how to construct, commission and operate a tungsten mine and need Almonty to smooth out the hiccups at the beginning.  on the other hand, always open ...more

I remember a bit of the swirling gossip & rumours back near the end of the Wolfe debaucle which involved Dundee and one of the Berkshire Hathaway companies.  i think Dundee held a strong position, but it was all dumped for pennies.  In retrospect, they were right as the timing was all wrong, and the mine was at least 5 years away from producing ore.  There were many more ...more
