Looks like the Drawdown Period has arrived!

ALMONTY ANNOUNCES RECEIPT OF THE FULLY EXECUTED UTILIZATION REQUEST FOR THE FIRST DRAWDOWN OF THE US$75.1M FACILITY Toronto – July 5, 2022 - Almonty Industries Inc. (“Almonty” or the “Company”) (TSX: AII / ASX: AII / OTCQX: ALMTF / Frankfurt: ALI) is pleased to announce that it has received from KfW-IPEX Bank the fully executed utilization request for the first drawdown of US$12,818,081 from the US$75.1M facility. The mortgage registration has now commenced in South Korea and, upon completion, the first drawdown funds will be sent to Almonty Korea Tungsten. Lewis Black, President and Chief Executive Officer of Almonty commented: “The World’s largest Tungsten mine is now fully funded and construction is well advanced. Our push for further growth in one of the most strategically important global sectors is also now fully underway. Ultimately, we will emerge as the only same source, transparent vertical Tungsten Oxide producer in the West and with our flagship project under construction, we will increase our output by over 300% with the opening of the Sangdong mine and a further 150% over that with our growth plan currently being pursued.”

A big congratulations to everyone. Now it is real and I think the market will start to take notice. I know it has basically been done for a long while now, but I wasn't willing to call it done until this news release came out. Signed - a very happy shareholder.

And this will likely send us to ATH in fairly short order! Congrats to all!

Now the fun starts. (thanks chizzles). Bi-monthly NR's about to begin. So now we have heavy earth works to prepare the site for concrete laying, and we also have the luxury to halt or slow the under ground mine development so the two areas do not step on each others toes or bump into each other during the process plant build, as it is a very cramped area to move around in on site. The under ...more

That is what I expected.... I also expect the share price to jump in spurts until production and dividends are paid. The Market doesn't understand the Tungsten Market, and it will be Almonty who will bring that understanding and stability. All in good time. The Market is experiencing fear right now.... Inflation, Stagflation, no where to invest.... stocks are falling, bonds are not a ...more

I wouldn't judge that based on today, Tuesday after a long weekend and the day started with the overall markets getting clobbered. Big down days aren't often the days when people agressively seek out small cap companies. Add to the general market conditions, Almonty isn't a closely followed stock by that many people and it takes institutions and others some time to reassess and update ...more

I'm a little disappointed. I understand why it didn't go from opening $0.90 to $1.20 in one day, but I would have at least hoped to get to $0.95 or even $1.00 today. But not drop $0.06! Who would sell on that news?

I guess there are some weak hands playing with Rent and Grocery money..  or May be they are just clueless or don't have the holding power..  I stil think few months down the road at some point, they should considering listing on US Exchange..  FWIW

Interesting to note that the ASX had this announcement marked as "not price sensitive".
