For deals like this, the percentage market belief that the deal will conclude successfully is recognized by the price jump ... .27/6.08 gives us a 4.5% confidence.  Good Grief, Charlie Brown.

The press release, much like their past 3-4 earnings calls, says almost nothing. We already knew there was a "binding" deal whatever that means, which was to be executed by July. I would like to know what additional information, if any, was gleaned today.

They needed the mexican govenment to pass an antitrust hurdle - that's what this was about. From my understanding, it's now just a matter of making the final little accounting adjustments, and handing over a couple hundred million. This whole scenario is just so bizarre, how this is so under the radar.  Or am I really justs missing something? Holding 10k shares, been up and down on ...more
