Hi Joe, I think the current name fits their bussinesses  very well now.  ie: GAS utilities; GAS processing; GAS pipelines; GAS exporting, yes?   maybe 4-5 years ago when Harris was more involved with "everything energy", but not now.  Maybe the future will see green renewables added to the infrastructure and a name change to GREEN ALTA ENERGY?

That's the problem; "Alberta" and "Gas" are toxic to millennials.

BS 2016, toxicity may not be the biggest drawback for ALA.  The company as we know it today is probably unknown to most investors in the U.S. The biggest stock performance improvement would be realized by listing on Nasdaq exchange or NYSE.  eh?

Some feel that a US listing is the holy grail for better SP performance. I am of the opposite view for some stocks. Listing on a US exchange opens a stock up to an huge increase in short activity and manipulation. If anything ALA needs less volatility (and a business plan).

OK BS 2016,  I understand where you're comming from.  I don't short stocks so i never thought of that angle.  We better find some income for Q2 & 3 before going across the border.  Thanks

All counts for me is the result of each Q, change name or not, change the name would create confusion? ??

Rocky ,BS DETECTOR is Pest, Cancer, he compare altagas as Lada and aqn as rose roy, look altagas 4 bucks more than aqn, don't miss understand, both are good, I am sure aqn will come back, both will hit 30D next year
