Impact Oil
AOI owns 30% of Impact which has a 20% interest in the Venus discovery, equating to 6% of the Venus-1 multi billion barrel discovery. Let's say 5 billion, so bottom line AOI has 60 million barrels. They are worth at a minimum $250mm. With $200mm in cash, $250mm in Impact net value and a market cap of $800mm, that leaves $350mm for all the rest. Primie is worth at a minimum one billion, say conservatively $700 million. The value given to all of the rest of their assets, Impact, Eco, Kenya is zero. Look for a rebound to $2.50 U.S. at a minimum.

Your calculation is wrong...bottom line Aoi has 300m bbl...$1.5b. The problem is: If the oil is not flowing (which they're going to test with the next wells), it's worth zero. If it's flowing...when was the last time, someone paid 1b+ for a hole in the ground under water ? Must be long ago. Maybe Impact gets a 3% free carry to production (in 5 years) and that's it.

Actually, you are the one who is wrong. The venus stake is not worth zero but it is worth significantly less than a field that has been further proven in terms of reserves.

I'm not an expert in offshore deep sea drilling, but maybe Keith Hill is. That's what he said in one of the last Cc. They need the appraisal wells to see, if the oil is flowing (pressure etc. Idk). If it's not...it's worth zero.

What he has said in previous conference calls is that the longer you stay in the better your investment is potentially. I listen to the calls Maybe you shouldnt start your comments with "your calculation is wrong" .. especailly if you are not an expert ..as you say.
