BUY ON WEAKNESS

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp
(AQN-T)
February 23, 2021

Short/medium outlook for renewable energy The recent harsh winter weather in Texas shows that even green power can be effected. But now this market rotation is a short-term blip for green energy stock, and so is a good opportunity to buy. Corporations and governments will continue to demand green energy and investors want ESG. This is a solid, long-term trend that favours this sector.

I'm not a day trader, but technicals are screaming Buy on AQn right now. This is the first time Aqn has dropped well below its 50 and 100 day moving average for the first time since the middle of 2020. Might be a good time to add today?

Actually Peter, regarding your "tar sands", no, I'm not upset, it's just that your ignorance may be misleading to the uneducated.

Good one Al. Before I retired, i was a mining consultant and did some work for over 8 oil sands companies. What I observed is that the only people that call them tar sands are greenies and idiots.   :-)
