TRP Splitting Into Two Companies

Article on TC Energy separating into two separate companies by spinning off its liquids business.

Possible AQN could do likewise with their utilities and renewable power assets if they can't find buyers willing to purchase some / most of their renewables at a decent price...?

Activist investor Starboard (7.5%) wants AQN to sell its renewable assets, but these assets are only worth what another entity is willing to pay for them. I suspect AQN has received interest from potential buyers, but if all they are receiving are lowball offers, what does Starboard propose they do? Sell the assets for a fraction of what they're worth? Easier said than done.
