Conference call

It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of trading today. Conference call is at 2pm. Hopefully it gives us a push. Copy at $4.07. Every 10% rise in copper over $3.50 adds $5.5 million to the coffers!

As per the news release.  That statement is for the last quarters production  pricing.  MVC’s financial performance is very sensitive to changes in copper prices. At December 31, 2020, MVC’s provisional copper price was $3.53/lb and final prices for October, November, and December 2020 sales will be the average London Metal Exchange prices for January, February and March 2021 ...more

CC has ended. Lots of questions from individual investors. New York, Las vegas, Toronto and B.C. I believe. No Brokererage Analysts though. Consensus is they need to get the story out more. Do some interviews , get on media. I think it would be good if they had scould get a few  Analyst 's to cover them..

Brokerage analysts get involved when there is likely an equity issue forthcoming.  There isn't here.   Need to get those mutual fund holders talking up the company.

They hired a PR firm and they need to start making their money. Hopefully it isn't just someone's friend that they are giving money to and getting nothing back. Been a couple of months and nothing so far. The only thing moving us is the price of copper. Mutual funds don't look at things under a buck. We need to put some distance between us and a buck before they will even take a peek.

Does anyone even buy mutual funds anymore?  ETF's seem to be taking over and unless it is a copper/base metal active management one we wouldn't even be in it.  On another note they did disclose a union contract signing with the supervisors union so they should have "no strikes for i think they mentiooned over 2 years" Not sure about if Codelco was worker problems what ...more

I read the transcript and kudos to the callers for ripping the old boys a new one. They need to get the board members ousted and sell the company if they can't increase share holder value. The callers were right on the money. We had a big cross over $4/lb today and we were down most of the day on  little volume.

I was quite surprised when I read the conference call transcript, and personally disagree with some of the harsh comments from investors (who were obviously upset, and feel the stock price could or should be higher). This CEO has done a great job in keeping costs down, looking at ways to increase production, and helping the company survive a brutal year in 2020. The company is doing well, and ...more

Copper up and all the other copper miners moving up. Capstone up 6% and we are down. Still think they are doing a great job!
