Nice to see new people on the board.
Article makes sense with the move higher as well. It will also be interesting to see what happens with MMG in Peru. That is a lot of production potentially taken offline for an extended period.

I think a lot of these stocks, only problem was the "shutdown". Basically devaluing them for no reason. As far as that goes, that also created opportunities for the ones that survived to thrive again. Basically creating "bargain hunting" season. I think if patient enough, some of these stocks will definitely pay off. Kill the week so the strong survive, as they say.

what i got out of this article is CONFIRMATION that NOBODY KNOWS..."don't PANIC" and yet the CHILEAN PESO is down 20% already..while this great news for ARG's costs, it also shows that the international markets are concerned.. ..company's position is that their a environmentally reponsible TOLLER with a an agreed to royalty scheme with their state owned parent..all true BUT.. ...more

you maybe right but I think your wrong -Chile has a lot of issues and killing the copper market is not one of them --maybe stoppong new mines is a different story

Don't waste your time with him. He is on all the boards bashing Chile. He sold half his position and is up? I guess he sold in the couple of days cause cmmc is down since October. Oh and why did he wait until after the election to sell and run the huge risk he claims we are all taking. He sold half of nothing because that is what he owned -- nothing.
