Big boy manipulation because they can do it. Drive it down to shake out weak hands, scope up their shares and by this time next week the stock is higher than yesterday, and they picked up shares cheap. That would be one guess. Anyone recall ATH last earnings date? If I recall it dropped roughly 5% on earnings date and within a week was way up.
