this is a lesson why you NEVER short...

last year got into a ongoing debate with one of many BB TROLLS as to why you never short stocks like this. Same never ending dribble being posted about CHEN, the company -no prospects etc etc. . I said then and i said now love the stock, hate the stock, trade the stock BUT NEVER SHORT..its just because days like this that BB would break thru on some front - with its patents, various business lines it was (still is) woefully cheap as compared to its peers-today i took 1k shares off the table but keeping the rest in this potentially forming of an all out short squeeze frenzy...now its time to see what plays out (currently up 60% wow)..dwdc

I suspect what you saw happen today was the big hedge funds covering previous shorts in the early going then putting the boots to BB when it got near day highs. The number of shares trading mid afternoon was staggering and the price dropped substiallly and still is dropping. They get their pound of flesh one way or another. 8.50$ tommorrow? or less?. Think the fact BB may not get revenue from this
