FB Settlement - March Court date ? ; $ Amount and dislosure

This is in response to the last post.  The court hearing scheduled for last week was deferred to mid March,  at least that is what i read early last week. I did not read that the March hearing was also dispensed with.

Re $ amount and its disclosure, since BB has a Feb YE, and a payment is received in March 2021 (or later) that payment will not hit the balance sheet until after YE. The only possible disclosure there may be is in the 2 28 2021 MDA ,or the subsequent event notes in the 2 28 2021 audited financials.

I was not involved many years ago when BB had a large settlement and how  and when that was disclosed. But the confidentiality terms with FB may be different,

Yes the Conference status hearing for March 18 we can assume has been cancelled as today the case was dismissed. I could be wrong but that seems logical.

So this seems to be focused on the BB disclosure side Should Facesteal sorry Facebook have disclosed anything on their recent earnings report

I had a quick at the FB financials and look saw nothing, but seetlement talks could have come after the FB financials were issued. Where do other readers come with the statement there is no longer a court date?

I think the earlier post from iDigby is incomplete. About 8 or 10 days ago someone posted the relevant court document and it referred tp the Feb 11 date being set aside and a new March date set re the settlement.

I predict a minimum $1.5 billion settlement and ongoing annual licensing royalties per each FB, Instagram and WhatsApp user. That combination would be give us a nice cash infusion and fantastic recurring licensing revenue.

Well maybe they have been paid and it is hidden in the Facebook earnings report that just came out. OR since the case was just officially dismissed now we will be paid.  As I say what I want to know is will we able to get a rough estimate from the March earnings? They have signed a non disclosure agreement so how will we figure out the amount? Cheers
