its a long time coming for this deal to be completed... is it there a possibility that Chen and gang are aware of the improbability of this deal to materialize and are just buying time 'cause of there poor revenue performance these last few earnings reports??  buying time for better sales = increase revenue??

He drew a line by end of November. I think it will be announced soon.  he wouldn't have thrown out that 80% number. They are in final stage .

From what I understand the out of court settlement was agreed upon only because it was an indisputable case of patent infringement. IOW a waste of time to even pursue, the classic open & shut case. Since then it's evolved into a patent sale if only to disguise the actual infringement.  I think FB & BB have agreed not to be totally transparent to SH on this one. We will never know

BB technology and IP has a role to play in FB vision of METAVERSE! That vision is impossible without extreme security and  BB will be there helping them.  The rebrand is not because of infringement. It's becuase of their vision of metaverse. they are doing something big soon and they want to align their name with it, it's going to threaten google twitter snap apple etc. I think

To Russian...liking your posts. Just for the record, I don't think it has anything to do with infringement either. However in some strange way it has brought FB to us and us to them. Unexpected result of litigation but tech changes so fast that these little happenstances are sometimes the difference between winning and losing.
