DoD Requirements

If you want a cyber security contract with US DoD then here's the certification you need. Sounds difficult and I don't know what BB might be certified for. I did find another article on CRWD Compliance where they claim to have satisfied 118 out of 171 requirements and as to what level (1-5) they sit I couldn't say.

I'm no expert in reading these documents but just from the gist of this, CRWD's numbers aren't near the top and those 4 companies listed by the Pentagon in an earlier Digs post are probably Level 5. I can only hope BB connection to AWS brought them into this exclusive club. From what I gather, the DoD has a 5 year plan for companies to become Level 5 compliant and satisfy all requirements. I figure CRWD with their 118 just squeaked in but it also states another 20 requirements will be necessary. So I don't know if they will even maintain that status.  I think the biggest difference is that in the past all a company needed was a self assessment ...more
