Lost $144mm in q2, lost $74mm q1, lost $1bill 2021, earns $74mm in q3, and sales are up, margins are great. What were people expecting? Looks like they've turned the corner. Don't care what the company did a decade ago, or a few years ago for that matter. Interested in what's ahead more than what's in the rear view mirror. JMHO. plus, what I heard on the call was positive moving forward QNX is so busy that they need to hire people, how awful? Right now I see 15.5M shares that don't agree with the anal -yst bought more for my daughters TFSA today.

I agree, it was a very positive earnings call. Too many people focus on the patents, and when they didn't get what they wanted, they sold. It sounds like the negotiations are still ongoing and will likely be settled soon, in spite of what is being said by the game theory posturing being spewed by the disgruntled voices.

Your right,but you may as well talk to a tree as talk to some of the fools on this board,This drop wasno surprise to me,,I would like to see BB sold to the highest bidder,Unless one is Simple minded it should be Obvious Chen is no good as CEO,can not do presentations ,Should not be allowed to even Speak.

Some of these guys are not very articulate when it comes to PR. That can be rather annoying, I know. I have another company on my target list, and that's the one thing making it hard for me to pull the trigger. Bottom line, today's numbers are an improvement on yesterday's.
