450 million net cash = not much room to scale. Let's see what's done with the patent cash .. imo this isn't a buy until growth is Q over Q for a year at least ..

FUDsteristos, I may not have all numbers off top of me head, but pretty sure you're wrong about that 450M net cash. That is, unless you round up instead of down or simply can't bother with due diligence beyond FUDnotes aka cliff notes for con artists. Anyhoo, pretty sure 407M is correct number. Loved your bit about BB not being a buy until Q over Q growth for a year... at least. That is

Guys, IP licensing revenue was pulling in $250/yr and growing at 90% margins.  A P/E of 10 is not unreasonable.  Instead of $2.5B up front, it's not unreasonable to get $1B up front with a large tail for, say, 7 yrs that totals another $1.5B based at least partially on future patent usage. This is going to be a BIG deal. It sounds like the complicating issue is financing which

Yasch, my hunch is may have been miscue with 450M or so being the upfront tip of iceberg (not total), with 75% or so percent of 'berg underwater or tail piece. What I found odd, is they mentioned something about being all bought out without talk of tail. My other inkling is that leak trail ran somewhat dry, that IAM doesn't know squat and G & M still trying to belittle the berry

Dwolf, Chen specifically said large amount up front and very tiny amount for 7 year trail. It's alll documented in EF transcript on investor relation page. The $450 implanted by globe and mail is likely by analyst to fk up retail and investors. They want to slowly buy up the shares. I forget which analyst but one of the traitor , TD or RBC or cibc, had written in their analysis long ago before
