Chen sold 30mil$ shard in meme run

According to globe and mail. How true is this? 


John Chen, CEO of BlackBerry Ltd., sold $30.7-million in stock, a small portion of the hundreds of millions in share awards the company has given him over his tenure. Prices for the company’s shares spiked in early 2021 thanks to retail investor enthusiasm during a “meme stocks” craze. (The company did not respond to requests for comment.)

BB total outstanding shares is around 574M, and how come John chen can have hundreds millions shares awarded as it stated? JC still has more than 8 millions shares as of Nov. 3 2021. And recent trading of JC did is on Nov. 3 2021 exercised on market around 11 usd. Years back, when PW started his insurance company, the temple of PW regular visited received letter that accused him as a scammer and ...more
