Thoughts if phones will make a comeback now that Onward is a sunken ship?

What I don't get. WHY license to Onward then delay then throw the under the bus if you have no intention of going through with it? Maybe they release phones under a different name ? Maybe The mother house is short on cash ? Makes no sense to me.

Seious question:  Where did you get the idea that John G. shut down phones? Is there a link or source? Regardless, it was the right move. At least for now. In the future, though, once the tracking of personal information, secure messaging and location start to become a real issue with the public, that's when to release the ultra-secure blackberry phone.  They need 2-3 ...more

@ Calgaryrider - Marketing a BB device as ultra secure could be successful.  There would likely be some pushback though.  The narrative would be "why does he need ultra security?!"  "He's a racist!" "He's a fringe person!"  "A Nazi!"  "A white supremicist!"  "A terrorist!"  And then government ...more
