Shareholder value

Can someone explain to me how splitting the Co in two will increase shareholder value, even if it stayed as the same shareholder value should increase as revenue grows,,, can someone explain it better please

You are correct.  This is called financial engineering.  This is what management that can't manage does to try and justify their egregious salaries.

they have done a really good job at cutting costs, in an effort to achieve profitibilty (which is a necessity when revenues aren't currently growing), however, splitting into two divisions will definitely increase costs as they now need management and admin staff for both divisions (where one person may have done that job for both cyber and EV/IOT/QNX with the combined company).... it does ...more
