2020 Deliveries

  Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 * Total

Global 7500 6 5 8 15 34
others 19 15 16 30 81

Total 31 20 24 45 115

* Plus canadian sales

The management revised targets ( Conference call Q3) are a dozen 7500 in Q4 and total deliveries between 100 and 120 for the year.

The targets are exceeded, that means :
  • more Free cash flow for Q4 and a better working capital.
  • less profits. In the Conference call Martel explain that the 7500 delivered in 2020 are orders recieved in 2012, 2013 and 2014 at an introductory price.

Introductory pricing from 2013 might be better than today's prices. Nice to hear the 7500 is being recognized with a strong price. Please stop the manipulation National Bank among them.

HopefulJuan, National bank is often trading, and see their trades on stockwatch! Many times i see trades like bought  1 share and sold it, or 72shares bought and sold same price. They are a real pain in the A$$, and mant =y time they are the one that won't sell the shares at the bid, and once you pay the ask side, they drop the price even lower than the first price you have put on the bid ...more

In the Conference call, Martel discuss the 7500 prices after a question about some cancellations. He said that cancellations is a good thing giving the better prices he could get from current orders than the introductory prices of 2012. The backlog is full to 2023 and a cancellation gives him an opportunity to sell the same planes at a better price and reach the profit zone faster.

Since the time he mentions that the order book is full until 2023. What about new orders?
Comment by lb1temporary on Jan 05, 2021 11:15am
He is positive but he never decline the composition of the backlog. He add that 18 to 24 months is a normal duration from orders to deliveries; these planes are not sold at the showroom.  But you can watch on the Bombardier site, the pre-owned aircraft they have to sell: 3 Global 6000 plus 2 with a deal pending, that's it. I think that is a positive sign.
Comment by MartinStock on Jan 05, 2021 1:28pm
Exact... Do we have new orders? That is a very important Question..... Anyone here have the answer? If we are optimistic ... BRP has annual sale of 5G with a profit of 227M ... The sp is 83 $.BA with the maintenance of business aircraft and the sale ... we can expect a similar number with similar or less benefit. The difference is the debt and let's talk about this debt because if you release ...more

Hahahaha, you're sneaky basher who is throwing numbers around like kids pooping into diapers..anyhow since you don't understand the math or how businesses functions, just take one thing aside:don't forget that debt payments are included into the profit calculations
Comment by MartinStock on Jan 05, 2021 2:11pm
Hey Drspec ... did I insult you ... I don't think so .. you had an unhappy childhood ... sorry for you. I know the debt is calculated on the balance sheets ... don't worry but I was just making a really crude comparison of the situation. I apologize for not being as educated as you but I thank you for having answered me at the height of your vocabulary. Now look at my second post that I ...more

hahaha relax..don't guess, instead find something interesting that would help investors on this board. Asking rhetorical questions and providing hypothesis about the possible bad outcome is nothing more than bashing and confusng

Tell You What ? Can you elaborate a little more?
Comment by johnney on Jan 05, 2021 3:11pm
MartinStock, we can't compare and by far BRP with BA, not the same picture at all! D'ont forget that the Bomber has overall more than 2.4B shares, and for now more that $9B of debt! BRP is making money constantly!
Comment by MartinStock on Jan 05, 2021 3:26pm

You're assuming, probably wrongly, that they attained these sales figures without a price discount.  I'm far more skeptical.
