Understanding reverse split
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/r/reversesplit.asp KEY TAKEAWAYS A reverse stock split consolidates the number of existing shares of stock held by shareholders into fewer, proportionally more valuable, shares. A reverse stock split does not directly impact a company's value. It does, however, often signal a company in distress since it raises the value of otherwise low-priced shares. Remaining relevant and avoiding being delisted are the most common reasons for corporations to pursue this strategy

Text book description, but personally I have not seen or been involved in any reverse splits that came out flying high. There are exceptions, but basically a r/s will kill us.

I went though a reverse split with MT , the shareholders got a premium for their dilution ...the share price dipped after the split but it ended up going higher after all .. the reason it went up was because of their performance .. I hope they don't do it here ... we need 1 share structure and the family "losing control" .. the market would like that ... GLTA

if family loose control i.e no more .A .B and only one share, yes the share price may gain a bit, but it would not be long before bbd is taken over by France or USA

Good! Maybe they can turn this company into what it has the potential to be. Jim
