« Les conditions technico-financires de l’offre du consortium BT-CAF ne correspondent pas aux prix de march et ne permettent pas d’excuter ce contrat sans risques importants pour le financeur, l’exploitant, les voyageurs et pour notre entreprise », a expliqu dans un communiqu le constructeur ferroviaire, qui a repris Bombardier Transport le 29 janvier.

Either bombardier was underbiding to get contract which makes sense as alot ofbombardier contract needed rework afterwards and explain why BT was bleeding and/or Alstom wants to kill this contract so Bombardier has one less example of showing BT was valued more because of this new contract when they try to dispute the closing price. I hope Alstom loses both case. Good on bombardier to close the

The ghost of BT... it just won't go away. I am not expecting anything good next week as more dirt on just how bad BT was will surface. Markets are forward looking, but this is BBD that is heavily manipulated by shorts and the media that will use any ammunition at their disposal to punish the stock to meet their objective.

Its behind us the most loss is the 400 million on BT price tag and sp is reflecting it. Bombardier makes great business jets they are Market leader with Challernger and Global series. Not so with learjet but learjet is bringing in good aftermarket money. Debt reduction is where they need to be aggressive and feb 11th should give us some ideas or whar bombardier is doing. Forgot BT.

flamingold i agree off course 1-  BBD that is heavily manipulated by shorts  2- the media will use any ammunition to punish the stock to meet their objective. there must be a bad and evil spell over BBD, BAD NEWS NEVER ENDS, AND RELEASED IN A SELECTED TIME TO PUT WATER ON FIRE

Alstom is a french, so they can easily re-negociate with the french gvnmt. In exange they will promise to keep everyone in the french factories of the group. Usual.  Also Paris need badly this new trains so they can t aford to lose time in procedure.  Annyway, if not this way, they will receive money from the post covid plan de relance or other future green infrastructure plans.

Can anyone explain to me why this news is in anyway relevant now ?   Is it possible that there is any good that comes out of beating a dead horse..lapresse and other media running out of negatives pertaining to Bombardier will pick up anything to keep the negatives going and some clowns here just seem to be abetting the process

there isn't much of an explanation to be had ..the crowd loves to hear negative news about anything remotely connected to the bomber and they are runing out of negativity to post  .. the only way to fight this is to build positivity and move forward ... all the govt help has overshadowed the positives the bomber has produced for our country/province ... people just remember the bad
