It is sad to read the posts since the last few weeks...  We were used to have better and informative exchanges...  This announcement for Wichita vocation, is very important for new incomes and solidification for reaching and exceeding 2025 target.  My two cents...

This move to Defense is a big thumbs up but did not get any media fanfare. Granted it's early days but can ramp up quickly with a team, plant and existing air structure already in place. 6 modified Globals are already on order. Higher margins and less media scruitny unlike the train/transporation division. And best of all... home base is the US... with the biggest defense spending globally.

Hey Flamingogold, good to read from you...  I fully agree with your post.  To me this is a wise move forward from Bombardier as this involvement with US AF may lead to lots more contracts.  I dont know if you had a chance to listen to the presentation at Wichita but to me, it was obvious this collaboration is the beginning of a new era with US aerospace industry in Wichita in

Another positive (if we can call it that) to National Defense is that it's recession-proof which will take the heat off an all-in business jet play. Sure, government budgets fluctuate but the US is a war machine... and Russia's aggression on Ukraine, even if a resolution is achieved, had just upped the anti on military defense spending for years to come.

Julie you are totally right, the board has become pathetic. We have received excellent news but the individuals continue their attacks on the company. It is difficult to understand their negative tear on Bombardier.    If you don't like a company you simply sell, there are individuals with a deplorable behavior that lacks respect.
