3 companies that
have done a 25 for 1 reverse split within the last couple of months. They are NVIV PTE and BIOL.Short term they got hit pretty good right after. Who knows bomber may be different but not liking the odds. Don't get all defensive and tell me how great th bomber is doing because the market says different and really it doesn't matter. It's about shareholders making money and at the end of the day that's all that counts. I have seen the odd reverse split work but the majority dont. We will find out what the bomber does in short order. I will be out before it happens and wait and watch for a month or so and make a decision on any future trading.

No bellyaching today? Since price is up ...I guess not. What a surprise and trying to compare the uncomparable..really shows attempt to rationalize his cluelessness . He'll be back to belly aching again soon next time he's on the wrong side. If he were in a casino with that kind of reaction everything he lost, he'd be shown the door for sure.

I fully agree that an R/S of 10 to 1 is much better than 25 to1. Using a R/S of 25 to 1 makes the share price unaffordable for many considering that one usually buys in blocks of 100 shares. The intent of doing an R/S is to make it attractive to institutions. However, to make the share price to high will limit the trading of shares as small investors will not trade as much.

For most investors, a company doing a R/S is seen as negative news rather than positive. Consequently, it would not be a surprise if Bombardier management is waiting to have something positive to annouced before they go ahead with the R/S

Private planes are expensive as well. With under 100 million shares there is a lot of upside and will be set up nicely for a dividend.

The last thing this company needs to do is to pay a dividend, even a few years down the road. Paying down debt and assuring the company's future is managements primary goal. Let's start with the company making a profit and agressively paying down debt. GLTA

Thanks for info. 859. Only thing is the likelihood of a recession is increasing by the day. If inflation leads to higher rates the r/e will correct as will the stock market. Hopefully Bombardier is being cautious not to increase production or spend too much capex.

Great post 859. Good thing with BBD, if market goes up, it rises with the rest. If market goes down continuously, eventually market will realize this is very cheap and the stock will run counter to the cycle just like oil and gas has YTD.
