3 companies that

have done a 25 for 1 reverse split within the last couple of months. They are NVIV PTE and BIOL.Short term they got hit pretty good right after. Who knows bomber may be different but not liking the odds. Don't get all defensive and tell me how great th bomber is doing because the market says different and really it doesn't matter. It's about shareholders making money and at the end of the day that's all that counts. I have seen the odd reverse split work but the majority dont. We will find out what the bomber does in short order. I will be out before it happens and wait and watch for a month or so and make a decision on any future trading.

Yup talking about odds is right up your alley ... do you not realize how different the bomber is from other companies , especially the ones who did the reverse split to survive ? ... I made money with MT when they did t'tira , that means absolutely nothing to compare it with another company ... the market will do what it wants and will react to whatever comes out as news ( which is the past )  ...more

Well you better get your big boy pants on then. Everyone here knows your stance and you are free to voice it over and over again. We are all free to make our own choices and have to live with them. How does a R/S make it easier to control the price? Does that mean it's open to more manipulation since it's easier to control? No sense gettnig all riled up on someone else's opinion. Sit ...more

My pants are on and off when they need to be ... as I've said many times on here " I trust me " , that means never fully trust a public traded company ... I am long but I've taken some profits here and there and I've also been clipped when I read too much into some of the earlier PR 's coming from past management ... all that is in the past and means nothing, a trade is ...more

Again you come across as defensive had making silly assumptions about my investments and how I manage them. You called all my trades fake when I actually was posting real time trades with all the info so decided it's a wase fo time. I also bet on myseld and need no advice from a penny board which has been a terrible investment over the years but thanks for the offer. I make 500+ trades a ...more

I don't make silly assumptions , your post history speaks for you ... clearly your flip flop ( positive to negative posts ) shows your trading pattern and proves you are using credit and that's ok ...saying 10 to 1 reverse is the same as 25 to 1 shows your lack of knowledge and that's ok ... I honestly don't care what you do and I hope everyone makes money, even the daytraders ...more

Yeah no silly assumptions lol. "shows my trading pattern" ?"lack of knowledge"? "proves  I use credit" 10 to 1 puts the stock at 12 bucks which enables instis to buy if they want, can you elaborate on the benefit of 25 to 1? You are betting on the family knowing what to do lol? How is that worked the last say 25 years? You call others not knowledgeable and ...more

No bellyaching today? Since price is up ...I guess not. What a surprise and trying to compare the uncomparable..really shows attempt to rationalize his cluelessness . He'll  be back to belly aching again soon next time he's on the wrong side. If he were in a casino with that kind of reaction everything he lost, he'd be shown the door for sure.

the 25 to 1 is a target to get the shareprice at targeted price to achieve a certain market cap ... I haven't been in the stock for 25 years , i was busy making my own money , I only got here when I sold my business and heard about their troubles through a tenant ... I have done ok with this stock and am in the green , could have done better but that's like everything else ,  I got ...more

Sorry to tell you but the market cap doesn't change after a R/S. How can you possibly talk about anything here if you don't even know that and call me a clown and clueless. I never said you have been here fo 25 years or do I care as my focus isn't on others ivestments or their trading style. I said the bomber has been a poor investment for that long. You have constantly reminded folks ...more

LOL Simply confirms the mentality of a clueless trader. Traders or so called day traders, as you claim to be should really not be interested in the fundamentals of a company as your prerequisite for trading that stock. But you continue to argue the fundamentals,  I likely trade this stock more than you but do you ever see me trash it ? I could believe or not believe in the fundamentals ...more

I fully agree that an R/S of 10 to 1 is much better than 25 to1. Using a R/S of 25 to 1 makes the share price unaffordable for many considering that one usually buys in blocks of 100 shares. The intent of doing an R/S is to make it attractive to institutions. However, to make the share price to high  will limit the trading of shares as small investors will not trade as much.
Comment by clubhouse19 on May 27, 2022 10:35am
IMO  unless there is something more to coincide with the RS, I find it difficult to believe that, standing alone, this RS will reduce volatility and incentivise institutions to jump in.  It is possible though that, with all that has and is transpiring on the positive side, that the CAISSE may want to jump back in, and after some thought, would think that to be a possibility if nothing ...more

For most investors, a company doing a R/S is seen as negative news rather than positive. Consequently, it would not be a surprise if Bombardier management is waiting to have something positive to annouced before they go ahead with the R/S

Private planes are expensive as well. With under 100 million shares there is a lot of upside and will be set up nicely for a dividend.
Comment by lb1temporary on May 27, 2022 1:28pm
Utopia: an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. Some dream of a dividend some times after the RS. Utopia. Bombardier is rated CCC+, a very weak rating. The use of future FCFs is already determined; Capex, models development and reducing Debt if  there are any left. To call a dividend a company needs to have a FCF margin (the dividend rate is usually ...more

Totally agree and doubt the creditors would be too happy when they are writing themselves options and little FCF to play with maybe 150-200 million this year and that is reaching as meeting estimates will be difficult by looking at their deliveries so far. Think about owing 6.7 billion with FCF at 200 million. That's like 30 years of debt repayment if all that FCF goes to debt. Sure guidance ...more

The last thing this company needs to do is to pay a dividend, even a few years down the road. Paying down debt and assuring the company's future is managements primary goal.  Let's start with the company making a profit and agressively paying down debt. GLTA

Very long story.  You analyse a lot of "comparable" stocks out there, we aprroached 50x PE at one point. Now its closer to 35, probably on its way to 20.  Thing is with Bombardier, what happens to the $1B EBITDA? Well theres probably still some mopping up to do gradually being whittled away (ex lawsuits and disputes) and they are sure investing a lot in services so quite a bit ...more

Thus company knows since a very long time who to Bull$$T the shareholders and others, and to publish good numbers! They have the best Jet in the industry now with their Global 8000, and we are at $1.21, will eat our shares 25 for 1 in June, while the company just gave themselves over 12Millions stock option on 12 May, at $1.19, so F**** All of them! Thanks Pablo. well said. -Remember the EBITDA will be higher than $1.1B in fiscal 2022. So 2023 you're into $1.3B territory.  -Capex will be non-existant in 2023 because the Service side investments will have ended this year. Including Q1/2023 for Pearson.  -The usable Reserves of $1.4, have no line secured/unsecured LOC. But there is $4-$500M that is used for calleteral, that is ...more

Thanks for info. 859.  Only thing is the likelihood of a recession is increasing by the day. If inflation leads to higher rates the r/e will correct as will the stock market. Hopefully Bombardier is being cautious not to increase production or spend too much capex.
Comment by BBDB859 on May 30, 2022 5:07pm
The Govt's will try navigate very carefully in the near future, with increasing Interest rates, so as not to trigger a recession. But a recession is inevitable IMHO. The reason why is, Inflation. Inflationary prices aren't coming down. Everybody and their competitors, are charging any inflated prices they can, for their goods and services they produce. This type of inflation takes time ...more

Great post 859. Good thing with BBD, if market goes up, it rises with the rest. If market goes down continuously, eventually market will realize this is very cheap and the stock will run counter to the cycle just like oil and gas has YTD.

Is that sort of rediculous  denial and foolish calculation that allows these people to steal your money.   They've sold every valuable asset and  there's nothing left go look at their arsenal of products in 2000 and now today. Their one product left is a business jet going into recessions. You might as well invest in VCR repair. all the planes {except one series ...more

NVIV - Patient died during testing of lead product... enough said PTE - Was already so low as a penny stock that it almost couldn't be named that way anymore BiOL - Announced the split the same day it came in effect, sounds like some type of ambush, maybe that's why everyone was trying to leave, couldn't trust management. All reverse split I guess but none are comparable to ...more
