2023 outlook

We got treated to very good pre Q4 results.  Actual Q4 will be similar.  Now we need to look at 2023.  Since bbd 2022 was better then expected, and deliver more then target  it shows bbd was able to manage their supply chain very well.  2023 supply chain is more stable and I wont be surprised if bbd maintain their earlier 2023 target.

Backlog growth is what we need to get the stock more boost.  Book to bill need to be above 1.0.  So if delivery increase in 2023 so must new orders to maintain b2b of 1.0.

With Airlines cutting less lucrative routes and reducing frequency to yield more profits, they have left bizz travel market open for bizz jet operators to move in.  And flex jet, net jets and likes  have moved in as they are expanding rapidly.

Bombardier is well positioned to supply the market now.  Except for Global 8000 development work all other aircraft are well into production maturity.  Bbd can sell 7500 now and convert to 8000 later.  Gulfstream has G800, G400 in development and G500/600 are still in early learning curve.  Same for Dassault they have 6X and 10X draining R&D money and not production ready.  Demands and growth for bizz jet is now and Bombardier has the aircraft now.

Aftermarket and sales is bbd's knight in shining armor.  They dont need large expensive tooling and dont have inventory of parts in 100s of millions to buid new
Aircraft.  All they need is large hangers to service the aircraft with much less equipment.  They have been building a lot of service center around the globe to meet demand and provide quick turnaround and flexibility to customers.

2023 outlook will set next price range.  And unlike before, Bombardier now has credibility with what they say and do.

Then, quickly after that, there's the likely to be raised 2025 Plan guidance.
