Observation

It's tough to argue with BePatient's position. I have held the stock for 15+ years...it's been insufferable and I have far too much in it. 5000 shares at an average cost of $92. I know...very stupid of me. Like many, I believed the storyline year after year hoping at some point the truth would be told.
I firmly believe there's more at play here. The manipulation is brutal. I believe there are many whose sole job is to keep the share price/ market cap down.
I look to south of the border. We've seen it before with Boeing. The Americans love gun boat diplomacy. In war and business. They hate to lose and will do anything to crush the competition. Our market oversight/ regulatory body is a pathetic joke. Makes one wonder if they are complicit. A conspiracy theory perhaps, but I suspect there are teams of traders sponsored by the big guys in the US to keep crushing the Cdn competition. they don't play fair. They are global bullies and far too many suffer as a result...

What is happening with the share price just doesn't add up. Arguably the best products on the market and a stock that trades at a fraction of its competitors, even taking the debt into consideration.
Sadly, too many have been burned by the manipulation.

It's no wonder that Canada is the preferred market for manipulation of common stock.    The regulators as you say are a total joke as they are outwitted by the entitities that trade on both sides of the border. The only jurisdiction that allows counterfeiting of shares   This country is a haven for them...

I have been investing in Bombardier's stock since 2001. Consequently, I think I know this stock rather well. This is one of the most volatile stock on the TSX. It was the case 20 years ago and it is still the case today. Over these years, regardless of what some people claims on this discussion board, I am more and more convinced that this stock is manipulated by deep pockets organizations ...more

Hi gobomber, you don't even have to put a stamp to your letter, and address, just put Trudeau, Ottawa. Don't wait too long, he may retired soon as challengers are looking for the job. ...."challengers" hahahahahaha ! hahahahahaha !

Do you honestly believe that Trudeau will do what South Korea did by amending the Public Finance Act to accommodate small investors? We are a drop in the ocean of investors who are wealthier than all of us. Now that Trudeau is going way down in popularity, he might be interested in considering the same approach as South Korea regarding shorting.

Rundle, just let you know, you are not alone. I held a bit more shares  than you with an average of about 75$. I started at !4$ 15 years ago. There are still a lot of shareholders still holding their shares, and believe it will go bakc to 100$, including me. It is not the time to sell. We should all wait untill at least to 2015, by then Martel will reach his final goal, that is.  Bomber ...more

Ruindel1, Perhaps before looking south of the border one could just look up to Bay street first. It is well known that BBD is not like by the Thompson familly and that has been the case of years. The familly is very powerfull with a lot of money and as far as i am concern if they decide to play to keep BBD down, they can and they have the mean to do so.

Anything is possible Whitewood2; but since the Bombardier-Beaudoin must be part of the establishment now, what could cause the Thompson family to be against BBD.

Hey Rundle. Your observation on the stock, is quite interesting, and one, of the more practical ones, since I've been posting here. Now starting from the top of your post. My beef with Patient is that, he's the kind that, can't just take his money, with his trading ability, and go. He's constantly here, sticking it to the posters like you, and me, who are in at higher ...more

859 You are giving this guy that you refer to way  too much credit . I saw a quoted post that here he comes again back from vacation....what a fairy tale >>>      How many times have I seen that before ? Anyone with any amount of sense would see the phoniness and the hypocrisy at play let alone the fibs.

Thank you to all who have commented. I truly appreciate the feedback/ input. And especially the civil dialogue. Thoughtful, meaningful (not mean) exchanges are the best way forward. Life is tough enough these days... Cheers, R

Hey Club. If some poster here tries to fool us, then all they're doing is, fooling themselves. I found the opportunity with this new poster's post, to address something that was not only what I've encountered with this stock, but just about everyone has the same frustration, with the continuous "shorting" here.
Comment by BePatient4now on Nov 11, 2023 1:41pm
859, let me explain to you something that you seem not to understand. When you decided to buy Bbd on the Toronto stock exchange, you accepted the rules and conditions established by the TSX. Under the AMF supervision, you may buy shares, go for options or short a stock. It's everyone personal choice and is perfectly legal. This means that shorting a stock within the rules is as clean, fair and ...more
