Can BBD benefit from the AI boom?

I have previously outlined some catalysts but not AI. Just wondering if and how they could tap into it. Perhaps surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft for military? Maybe someone could provide more insight.

its a valid question, but I am not aware of any other aviation companies expanding/benefiting heavily in AI Given the history of BBD, expansion needs to be carefully thought out and planned.  I am perfectly fine with the way they are expanding now.  Personally I would say debt reduction and possible acquisitions are the right way to grow until say 2030

Depends.  Just like all the aircraft parts, process and tools need to be validated and certified, so does computer software that will be used on it.  This includes cockpit software, software used by maintaince and any software or AI used for assembly. So yes, AI can be used but that programing, process and equipment will need to be certified.  However it is very costly adventure ...more
