Bombardier Inc. > Could Challenger 6500 be coming

Could Challenger 6500 be coming

Bombardier has upgraded all its product line.  Challenger 350 now is upgraded to Challenger 3500.  Only product left is Challenger 650.

Global 5000/6000 was secretly re-engined using existing engine nacelles to Global 5500/6500.  I think some tweak to wings were made.

Could Challenger 650 get same low cost re-engine and become Challenger 6500.

I am reading between the lines in this article.

She added: “But if you look at the entire business aviation spectrum, I think probably a little smaller is going to be the next opportunity,” she said, noting that this could be something akin to the size of a Bombardier Challenger 650

Makes sense, Challenger 650 has GE engines so a swap to smaller version of GE passport engine is possible.  This could also explain some of the cash burn.
