A source said: “Bombardier is strongly interested in purchasing the remaining part of Spirit AeroSystems in Belfast, excluding the wing production of the A220 units.” Sources said Bombardier’s involvement is at the “interest phase”, rather than in active negotiations. I'm really happy that Bombardier isn't alone in needing to secure a deal with Spirit. Boeing is a shark in bloody waters. Airbus needs wings and I've read they are considering upsizing the 220. GLTA

My own bet is that BBD will receive between $200 million & $300 million from Spirit to get all that for U$1.00.  Same purchase model done by Airbus to get $559 million compensation under Spirit Aero deal.
