A large withdrawl (-91bcf) considering how moderate the temps were . I don't think people are properly factoring in how large withdrawls will be as the cold settles in . Rigs drilling for nat gas (US) have been at multi-year lows for the past 8 months , production has been falling and it will take time to repair the damage .  It may take a few more reports but once Jan and the polar ...more

Right on. I know I should stop plugging it , but Celsiusenergy.net is a very good  free source for nat gas projections and pricing. All in all their projections are pretty good. Some weeks a little below others a little over but pretty damn close most of the time.

Oldnagger , personally I like reading the EIA weekly updates , gives you most of the pieces to get the overall view of the next inventory report . As the EIA (and the weatherman) are what NYMEX gas trades base their trading off of it makes sense to see what they are reading .  No matter where you get your info , they all confirm the same facts . Drilling is down , production is down , LNG ...more

An excellent drawdown yesterday and nat gas is on the move again this morning , up 5 cents to $2.60 US
