BTC fell off a bit of a cliff after looking like it was about to really take a run is more the reason this sold off later in the day. I wouldn't get too worked up about shorts and swing traders affecting things. If you believe that BTC will over time continue its climb much higher (as I certainly do) then you will be just fine as a LONG and over time the so called manipulators you speak of ...more

I noticed that as well, lots of 1000 share lots were offered in the last minute. I got filled at a price I didn't think would happen in that last minute. There must be some big players shorting this or at least one.
