Short position report is out - only thing of note is the T's up 30k and C's down 30k.

Good morning Carena. Question for you. It is a bit of a puzzle. I have been around a while and I had not noticed that mystery yet. The short position on BPO.PR.T increased by 31,638 from March 16th until March 31st, according to the simi-monthly report. Is that number accurate? During that period, only 28,819 shares were traded according to TSE statistics. < ...more

Hi Pierre, I have no idea why the total volume is lower than increase. That is weird. Nothing on the "corrections" report either. Let me know if you figure anything out. I do a continuity each 2 week period of the short position for the 4 BPO prefs I own (T,N,E,G) using the short volume report and the short position report and noticed T N and E did not make sense this period ...more

I have noticed that on another stock that I own that some of my trades don't show up on TMX. When I check Stockwatch ....There they are. Blocks traded between brokers every day. TMX shows last trade at 3.15 or so and Stockchase shows hundreds and thousands trading after that on the other exchanges. At higher prices. That does not seem legit.

Hi Wynner, I totally agree. I have never fully understood why I see some of my trades in one spot and not the other. lol. I don't know about legit, but I am sure all of us agree that it is not rocket science to aggregate data from the various exchanges and have one data base that stockhouse et al grab from and then be able to drill down into that database to see where all the volume ...more
