OT- high dividend yield gold Royalty Stock

Hey fellow BPV investors. just in case some of you are also looking to built a diversified Gold Royalty Portfolio here is one you may want to add, if you can trade Frankfurt or EURONEXT paris.

EURO RESSOURCES - https://www.euroressources.eu/

ISIN: FR0000054678

They have a 10% GSR on IAMGOLDS Rosebell mine. Which will produce like 400k oz next year. The thing is, beside an small interest in Columbus Gold, they only own this one Royalty, so it´s a single asset company. But last year they distributet approx 0.8Euros per share. this year it will be about the same. 0.29 already payed. With a shareprice of 3Euros that`s a 25%+ dividend yield. there is still 12+ years of Royalty payments left.

My Royalty Protfolio now constists of:

T.FNV - T.RGL - T.BPV - V.SSL - EURO RESSOURCES - V.GRO

mr tea, i called the company up and they say they that there was a hostile takeover in 2008 by Iamgold. so its not a growing business where they can acquire more royalties. they just have this one and when it runs out that that. they have interest in 4.1 million ounces remaining . last year they paid out return on capital and not a dividend. this year they paid dividend on tuesday and was ...more

that is correct! but the math is rel simple to me. if you buy 10000k shares @ 3Euros today and there is approx 11 years left till the Royalty is finished. and they only pay 0.29 Euros per year then thats 3,19 Euros over the next 11 years. But as the Goldprice is higher today they will most likely pay out much more in 2013, maybe even a second dividend or payout in 2012. so basically it is an ...more

ask yourself why some insiders weren`t willing to sell to IAMGOLD such that there are still shares on the markeT? they knew it`s a cashcow. however. let`s assume EURO RESS drops to 0 by 2023 (11 years left of 390-400k production) and you recieve a 1Euro every year from now. with gold @ 1750 that is resonable (most likely to go higher) that`s a payout of 11Euros per share vs 3 Euros inevstment. Bur ...more

thanks. but last year was a special case as they had a restrucring or something when they paid out .8 according to them.  and that was classified return of capital. but this year it was a dividend. so i am guessing the payout is really .29 or a little more depending on gold prices. so in 11 years they just return 3.19 euro or a little more at present gold prices. but if gold goes to 3000 ...more

ok about last year this is what i found   During the Annual Shareholders Meeting held on June 21, 2011 in Paris, the shareholders approved the distribution of an issuance premium, in the maximum amount of €29,373,000, which was to be paid in two installments: • The first installment occurred on Monday, July 11, 2011 in the amount of €0.28 per share, totalling €17,499,000; • Based on the June ...more

i think you shouldn`t listen to this management, they do not seem to have much interest attracting addtional shareholders.  my point is: from 2012 june financials "At the end of July 2012, EURO received payment of $12.65 million (€10.30 million) related to the  second quarter 2012 Rosebel royalty.  EURO will be making its first dividend distribution on  September 18, 2012 ...more

hi tea,  euro ressources distributed the max. dividend for this year of .29 euro. last year they distributed i think .47 euro? but that was because they had done a some kind a private equity deal i think. but that was a one time deal.   all this stock is like a vault which has 4 million ounces and you sell 360k ounces every year for the next 12 years and get dividend  dependent on ...more

yes some sort of vault. but still one with a nice discount. if you for example look at Sprotts Physical Gold trust for example. i´d say this one is the better buy. still approx 55-65million in royalty revenue at current Goldprice per annum. so basically after tax and the very low G&A they will either distrubte the funds or part of the money stays in the treasury, but then the shares are ...more
