Virtual every single Large cap American-based O&G has outperformed your  SINGLE Cherry Picked Canadian company.

My statement Stands.   Virtually ALL  Canadian oil companies Long term shareholders have been decimated.

Let me be more specific.

CNQ is the largest O&G E&P company in Canada with roughly 90% of its assets located in Canada (including a huge % of the oil sands), so if Canadian governments / rules / regulations / pipeline issues, etc., were so bad, it would affect CNQ the most and certainly provide plenty of opportunity for large U.S. companies to outperform it. However, lo and behold, CNQ has outperformed its U.S. peers over time, including consistently having enough cash left over to provide shareholders with an outstanding history of paying and raising dividends. How is this possible given the alleged terrrible business conditions for Canadian companies in this sector vs. U.S. ones...?
